The title of their EP, Casa das Flores, refers to the house in Rotterdam where Floor and Elizabeth lived together. This house, visited by many Brazilian musicians and friends, became the vibrant heart of numerous jam sessions and musical exchanges. It was here that the inspiration for their unique sound was transformed into live performances: lively, spontaneous, and full of passion.
Floor, originally from The Hague, spent over five years in Brazil, where she became deeply connected with the country’s rich musical culture. Elizabeth, originally from Brazil, moved to the Netherlands to study early music on the harpsichord.

During their performance, they demonstrate how the boundaries between styles fade: from swinging Brazilian rhythms to refined classical pieces and jazzy improvisations. The audience can expect an evening filled with virtuosity, warmth, and musical craftsmanship.

Brisa Carioca
Brisa Carioca is a tribute to the city of Rio de Janeiro, where Floor Polder, flutist and composer, lived for five years. There, she became deeply immersed in the dynamic Brazilian music scene and was inspired by artists such as Egberto Gismonti and Tom Zé. Her return home is marked by the development of a unique sound, a fusion of Brazilian and jazz influences, and her own creative vision. Brisa Carioca represents the warm breeze that flows through the streets of Rio de Janeiro; it’s a show that allows you to feel the energy of the city!

Banda Fulô brings the rich musical traditions of Brazil to life with a sparkling mix of instrumental dance music. Founded by the talented flutist Floor Polder and the versatile pianist Elizabeth, the band embodies the soul of Brazilian genres like forró, MPB (Música Popular Brasileira), and carimbó.
With influences from legends such as Hermeto Pascoal, Lenine, and Hamilton de Holanda, Banda Fulô creates a sound that is both innovative and steeped in tradition. Their music brings unparalleled energy and dynamics to every stage, inviting listeners to move along to the rhythms and melodies they so masterfully command.
